After ruling the Bollywood in the ’90s and 2000s actress Shilpa Shetty is all set to make her Bollywood comeback after thirteen years.

Speculations about Shilpa’s comeback in Bollywood was making the buzz for quite some time now. Earlier there was the buzz that Shilpa will do the Ramesh Taurani’s untitled film which also stars Yami Gautam and Diljit Dosanjh. 

Finally, the wait is over and Shilpa herself announced about her comeback in Bollywood industry on the social media account.

Sharing the news on Instagram account Shilpa Shetty said that she is excited to come back in Bollywood after the period of thirteen years.

“Shilpa Shetty marks her comeback with Sabbir Khan’s Nikamma”

Shilpa will enact a pivotal role in Sabbir Khan’s upcoming movie “Nikamma”. The movie also stars Bhagyashree‘s son Abhimanyu Dassani and Shirley Setia in the pivotal role. Shilpa Shetty’s comeback movie Nikamma is will release in summer 2020.

Talking about the film, Shilpa Shetty said to a leading daily that It’s a refreshing and unique project, and she is looking forward to working with Sabbir Khan. She loved her role in the movie as she had never attempted this kind of role before. She said that she can’t wait for the audience to see her in a new avatar.”

On making the film, Sabbir Khan said that Shilpa always wanted to come back with a worthy role. He is very happy to have her on board and bring her back for her fans.

Filmmaker Sabbir Khan’s last movie was 2017’s drama action Munna Michael which stars Tiger Shroff and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead roles.

Shilpa Shetty was last seen on the silver screen in 2007 in Anurag Basu’s “Life in a Metro” and Anil Sharma’s “Apne”.

She was also seen in dancing numbers in movies Dostana (2008) and ‘Dishkiyaoon‘ (2014).
