The anticipation is finally over! Boney Kapoor, the renowned filmmaker, has confirmed that his daughter, Janhvi Kapoor, has been signed on for an upcoming project alongside Ram Charan, directed by Buchi Babu Sana of Uppena fame. This marks her second venture into Telugu cinema following her debut in Devara with Jr NTR. 

Additionally, Boney Kapoor revealed that Janhvi will also be collaborating with Suriya. Speaking to iDream Media, Boney shared, “My daughter has already completed filming with Jr NTR and is thoroughly enjoying her time on sets. She will soon commence shooting with Ram Charan as well. Both of these actors are excelling in their craft.”

Expressing his delight, he added, “Janhvi has been immersing herself in Telugu cinema and considers it a privilege to work with such talented individuals. Hopefully, these films will be successful, opening up more opportunities for her. She will soon be seen alongside Suriya too.” 

This announcement adds to Janhvi’s already packed schedule, which includes the Hindi films Mr. and Mrs. Mahi and Ulajh. Boney Kapoor also fondly reminisced about his late wife, Sridevi, who worked across multiple languages, stating, “My wife acted in various languages, and I hope my daughter follows suit.”

He expressed regret over not purchasing a house in Hyderabad, a city where they shot many films and relished the local cuisine. “I’ve filmed 12 movies in Hyderabad. At that time, it was a city on the rise. When I returned after a few years, everything had changed. I used to drive around myself, but now I rely on locals for guidance. I wanted to buy a house here for my wife because she worked extensively in Hyderabad. We cherished the Andhra cuisine whenever we were here. It’s something I miss dearly now.”

While the official announcement from the makers of Ram Charan’s project is pending, fans can rejoice in the knowledge that Janhvi Kapoor will be sharing the screen with yet another Telugu superstar.
