Deepika Padukone is known for her powerful roles in the movies. After playing the role of Rani Padmavati in the movie “Padmavat” She is all set to personify the story of bravery and the human spirit in the movie “Chhapaak”. Chhapaak depicts the real-life story of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal who is now a social worker and works for the rights of acid attack survivors. Directed by Meghna Gulzar Chhapaak is all set to release on 10th January 2020.

Apart from Chhapaak, Deepika Padukone will also play the role of Kapil Dev’s wife Romi Bhatia in movie “83”. 83 is directed by Kabir Singh is based on India’s world cup winning team of 1983. 83 is also the first film of Deepika Padukone with husband Ranveer Singh after marriage.
Deepika Padukone is also a successful businesswoman. She recently collaborates with a Greek yogurt company, Epigamia.
