Uri star Vicky Kaushal and Ranveer Singh will be seen together in Karan Johar’s directorial “Takth”. Takth is an Epic historical movie based on the Era of the Mughal Empire. Finally, Karan Johar makes the two young stars of B-town, Ranveer Singh and Vicky Kaushal to work together.
Karan Johar is busy in completing the script. Ranveer Singh and Vicky Kaushal work together and will play the main lead in the movie. According to the latest reports Karan Johar wants the character of Vicky Kaushal as strong as of Ranveer. He is re-writing the role of Vicky Kaushal to match with Ranveer Singh’s role. Vicky Kaushal will play the role of Aurangzeb, a controversial Mughal King. While Ranveer Singh will play Aurangzeb’s brother Dara Shikoh. Both will share the screen with opposite characters.

Talking about his character, Vicky Kaushal reveals that he is very excited for his role. And waiting for the start of the shooting.
The film also stars Kareena Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Bhumi Pednekar, Janhvi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor in pivotal roles.
Kareena will play the role of Aurangzeb’s and Dara Sikoh’s sister Jahanara. Alia Bhatt will play the role of Dara Sikho’s wife and Bhumi of Aurangzeb’s wife. Anil Kapoor will be playing the role of Shahjahan, father of Aurangzeb and Dara. Jahnvi will play the role of a slave girl.
In an interview, Karan Johar said that after the success of period epic Bahubali, he encouraged to make a film like that. In North India, Bahubali was produced under Karan Johar’s Dharma Production.
Mean While Ranveer Singh is preparing for her upcoming film “83” based on the 1983 Cricket World Cup. He is playing the role of 1983 World cup winning team caption, Kapil Dev.
