After the blockbuster cop- drama Simba, Rohit Shetty is all set for his new movie Sooryavanshi. The film stars Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif in main leads. Rohit Shetty introduces Abhimanyu Singh as the villain of the movie. Abhimanyu Singh who made his debut in 2001 with film “Aks” will be seen sharing the screen with Akshay Kumar in Sooryavanshi. We have recently seen Abhimanyu Singh in “Mom” which also stars Srivedi. Abhimanyu Singh Plays the role of Villain in Sooryavanshi. He has already joined the team and shooting started.

Rohit saw Abhimanyu’s 2017 Tamil action thriller “Theeran” in which he had done the role of Villian. The film was superhit and based on a true story. Rohit liked his acting in the film and decided to give the villian role of Sooryavanshi to him.
Talking about the same, Abhimanyu said that after watching his film Theeran Andhigaaram Ondru, Rohit Shetty thought that he will be fit for the villain role in Sooryavanshi. Abhimanyu also revealed that the Rohit’s office is near to his home in Mumbai. Rohit called him and congratulated him for being part of the movie.
Abhimanyu describes his role as unpredictable and deadly.
In an interview, Abhimanyu says that the first-day shoot of the movie is complete. He knows Akshay Kumar for a while. Appreciating Rohit, Abhimanyu said that he makes him feel that they know each year from years.
Sooryavanshi reunites Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif after 9 years
The film reunites Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif after 9 years. They were last seen together in Tees Maar Khan in 2009. Akshay is playing the role of ATS Chief Veer Sooryavanshi in the movie. Abhimanyu Singh Plays the role of Villain in Sooryavanshi. Katrina Kaif’s role is lady love of Akshay. The movie also stars Neena Gupta as Akshay’s Mother.
It has a shooting schedule of 10-12 days in Mumbai. After that, the team will shoot in Bangkok for the introductory role of Akshay. Then shooting will be held in the film city in Hyderabad and Goa.
Sooryavanshi will release on Eid 2020 and expected to clash with Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt starrer Insahallah.
