Karan Johar finally made the official announcement of 2nd installment of 2008 hit movie Dostana. Karan shared a video on his Twitter account on Thursday captioned “The return of the franchise with unlimited madness”. Kartik Aaryan and Janhvi Kapoor will star in Dostana 2 along with a male newcomer.

Dostana was a romantic comedy movie released in 2008 which features John Abraham, Priyanka Chopra and Abhishek Bachchan in the main leads. The movie is everyone’s favorite and from a long time, fans were demanding for the sequel. Now, Finally, the wait is over as director-producer Karan Johar is coming up with the sequel ‘Dostana 2’.

The movie will mark the first directorial of Collin Dcunha. Collin also shared his excitement on the announcement of his first film on his Twitter account.

The expectations for Dostana sequel is high as the trio of John Abraham, Priyanka Chopra and Abhishek Bachchan rocks the Dostana in 2008.
Apart from this, Kartik Aryan has recently completed the shooting of Pati Patni Aur Woh opposite Ananya Panday and Bhumi Pednekar. He is currently busy in the shooting of his upcoming movie Love Aaj Kal along with Sara Ali Khan. The movie will be directed by Imtiaz Ali.
On the other hand, Janhvi Kapoor has lots of film in her Kitty. She will play the role of first Female Indian Airforce combat pilot and first Indian Shaurya Chakra recipient Gunjan Saxena in the biopic “Kargil Girl”.Actor Pankaj Tripathi will play the role of her father in the movie.
