Kangana Ranaut and Raj Kumar Rao’s Mental Hai Kya renamed as Judgementall Hai Kya. The movie is an erotic black comedy which is directed by Prakash Kovelamudi and produced by Ekta Kapoor. The movie also stars Amyra Datur, Jimmy Sheirgill, and Hrishitaa Bhatt in the pivotal roles. The releasing date of the movie is 26 July 2019.

Recently the lead actor of the movie Kangana Ranaut has met members of the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) and after that, she said that she is ready to make necessary changes for her upcoming film Mental hai kya.

The film was facing trouble since its first poster was out with the title. The Indian Medical Association(IMA), along with other bodies has sent a letter to the Film Makers, CBCF chief Prasoon Joshi, The PM’s Office, and former Information and Broadcasting Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore for withdrawal of the teaser and revision of the name of the film.

After a session of almost 5-6 hours, Kangana said that there will be little change in the movie as they find it a bit harsh. She further added that the filmmakers are happy to change the title of the movie and there are no cuts in the movie.

The meeting was done in the presence of Ekta Kapoor‘s father Jeetendra and Kangana. This has been also decided by the board that several places with the usage of ‘mental’ will be muted.

This change was made because the previous title of the movie was insensitive toward the issue of the mental health and the makers stated that their intention was not to offend or hurt anyone’s sentiments due to which after a meeting they agreed to change its title and mute the word “mental”.

However, Producer Ekta Kapoor tweeted that Mental Hai Kya was sensitive towards mental illness and did not mean to offend anyone.

“The film in no way marginalizes the mental health community and the title of our film doesn’t intend to disregard anyone’s sentiments. It is sensitive towards the issue of mental illness,”
