Shahid Kapoor has proven his sharp acting skills with each passing day and becomes everyone’s favorite. His previous release Kabir Singh was a blockbuster and broke many box office records.
After the success of Kabir Singh, Shahid Kapoor is currently busy in spending some quality time with his family. As per the latest reports, Shahid will start the shooting of his next movie in December. His next venture is once again a remake and that is of a Telugu movie – Jersey.
Gowtham Tinnanur directorial Jersey is a sports drama that stars Nani and Shraddha Srinath in main roles. The story of the movie revolves around a cricketer and the struggles he faced in his life.

Shahid will play the main lead in the Hindi remake of Jersey. The filmmakers have not decided on the title of the film yet. Dil Raju’s Venkateswara Creations, Allu Aravind’s Geetha Arts and Amam Gill’s Brat Films will jointly produce the film. As per the reports, the director of the original movie, Gowtham Tinnanuri will also direct the Hindi version. There is also buzz that he has finalized his team of assistant directors.
The team is currently working on the script of the movie. They are rewriting the scripts as per the interest of Hindi audiences. Dear Comrade and Geetha Govindam fame Rashmika Mandana is in talks to play the female lead. The other cast of the movie is yet to be decided.
Shahid was offered the remake of Jersey soon after the release of Kabir Singh. As per the reports, Shahid wants to do the films which will up to the expectations of audiences.
After the huge success of Kabir Singh, we hope that Shahid will rocks in Jersey remake .and set other milestones.
