Director Zoya Akhtar’s Gully boy starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt was a huge Bollywood hit. The film scores more than 100 crores on box office collection. Now Zoya, who is known for taking inspiration from the real-life world is looking out for her next project. It seems that she is planning to work again with Ranveer Singh. As per reports, Zoya is planning to make a film based on Gangster. It will be based on two popular Hollywood gangster film, The Departed (2006) and Gangs of New York (2002).

According to Cine Biltz, it will be a two-hero film, and Ranveer Singh is expected to feature in one of the lead roles. It will be a Gangster flick. Zoya is looking to buy the rights of making a remake of hit Hollywood gangster drama. The Departed (2006) and Gangs of New York (2002). She wants to take a film and adapt it to our desi audience. She is also looking for the 2nd main lead.

The film will be adapted to suit and be based in Mumbai. It will shoot in Mumbai too. If reports of Ranveer Singh and Zoya Aktrhar coming together for this film are true then it will be their third film together after Dil Dhadakne Do and Gully Boy.

Meanwhile, Ranveer is currently training for his upcoming film “83” which is based on Indian Cricket Team’s 1983 World Cup Victory. He will play the role of Kapil Dev in this film.
