Lovebirds of B-town, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are coming together in the upcoming movie “Brahmastra”. The film is being directed by Ayan Mukherjee and produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Production. The team of Brahmastra is currently in Holy city of Varanasi for the shooting of the movie. Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are playing the lead roles in the movie. Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt snapped on the sets of Brahmastra in Banaras. In the pictures, Alia and Ranbir are sitting on a boat which was decorated by lights and flags. Ranbir is wearing an olive green t-shirt and blue denim while Alia is in strappy white top with a red shrug and blue denim. Both of them carrying a bag in their hands.

Both Ranbir and Alia often snapped together in real life but in reel life, Brahmastra is their first collaboration. The movie is scheduled to shoot in Varanasi for 20 days. Brahmastra also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Akkineni Nagarjuna in pivotal roles. The movie was initially supposed to release on 20 December 2019. But now, the film is postponed to release in summer, 2020. Director Ayan Mukherjee stated that the film is a trilogy the team needs more time to work on the project.
Brahmastra is an action fantasy film which is made on the budget of Rs 150 Crores. The movie is a trilogy and “Brahmastra is the first part of this.
Talking about the film, Alia Bhatt said that she is very excited for the film. “It is a step ahead. This will take cinema to another level”
As Brahmastra is the first movie of lovebirds Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt together. It will be interesting to see their onscreen chemistry.
