The first half of the film is all about the harmless flirting between the two different aged Ashish and Ayesha. They realized that they are more than a friend and can be more than a habit of each other. When Ashish therapist Friend comes to know about his relationship with a half age girl. He warns him for this aged gap relationship. This is all you will see in the first half. Film writer Luv Ranjan added much comedy in the part of Ashish. Ajay Devgan is being repeatedly called Buddha and uncle in the film as a part of the comedy, which makes audiences laugh so much.

Film generalist and editor, Taran Adarsh twitted about the ‘De De Pyar De’ Movie Review, saying it a winner.

In the second half, the movie remains light and fluffy. There are some awkward situation and conflict. The film shows a balance between modern and old age thinking. Most of the scenes are funny except one scene of the sentimental moment when Tabu defends her x-husband.

The film shows some sentimental topics like divorce, live-in and age-gap romance.

Overall it is a fun movie which reinstates the fact that age is just a number in love.

The songs are average.
