Since the news comes that Akshay Kumar is doing the remake of horror comedy movie Kanchana, fans were waiting for the shooting to be started. There were several reports about the film but not actual confirmation about the shoot. Finally, the much-anticipated horror movie shooting is started in Mumbai. Akshay Kumar was spotted filming a song at a resort in Borivali, Mumbai. According to the reports, the set was spooky with a bunch of babas dressed in black, they were beaten by peoples. The song titled “Bismillah”. Akshay was spotted in a white shirt and pink shorts. Tushar Kapoor was also present at the set. As per reports, he is the co-producer of this film. Although, Akshay Kumar has not done the official announcement for the film. But he hinted towards the filming of the project. On his Twitter account, he wrote :
Getting into an unknown and uncharted territory today. Doing something I have never done before. Excited and nervous both. Stay tuned for updates.

The film titled “Laxmi” and is directed by Raghava Lawrence, who is also the director of original Tamil Kanchana.The film stars Kiara Advani in the lead role.
Akshay has recently announced his next project with Rohit Shetty “Sooryavanshi” and Katrina kaif in the lead. The film will be released on Eid 2020.
As per reports, along with the Bismillah song, the initial part of shooting will also be done before the starting of the Sooryavanshi shooting. The rest part of the shoot will complete after the wrapping up of Sooryavanshi, which is likely to be completed by August, this year.
