The night sparkled with the heart winning performance of birthday girl Katrina Kaif, followed by Alia Bhatt, Salman Khan, from Shahid Kapoo to Shushant Singh Rajput, Kirti Sanon, and many more.

IIFA Best Female Playback Singer: Tulsi Kumar for Airlift and Kanika Kapoor for Udta Punjab.
Best Performance in a negative role: Jim Sarbh for Neerja.
IIFA Best Actor in a comic role: Varun Dhawan for Dishoom.
Best Music Direction: Pritam for Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
Best Playback Singer- Male: Amit Mishra for Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
IIFA Best Lyricist: Amitabh Bhattacharya for the song Channa Mere Ya from Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
Women of the Year: Taapsee Pannu for Pink
Nawazuddin Siddiqui winds-up up the evening with his take on award shows. He said, “I don’t believe in awards but it’s good, cause people get motivated to work harder. If you perform only keeping awards in mind, then it’s not good. You should celebrate awards and then get back to your aukat and start working harder.”
