Disney/Marvel studio’s Avengers: Endgame has a record opening in China. Directed by Russo brothers, the most awaited Hollywood movie released in China yesterday on Wednesday 24-04-2019. On the first day of its release, it enters in $100 million hauls. This is the highest ever opening movie in China eclipsing the previous Chinese movie The Monster Hunt2.

Avengers: Endgame already set a new record of advance ticket sale in China. Endgame also accounted for a surprising 99 percent of all movie tickets sold in China on Wednesday. Many top multiplexes showing the movie on every screen after the interval of every 15-20 minutes.

China is the world 2nd film market and Endgame is already making box-office history in China.

According to an early estimate from Disney, Endgame earned a record $107.2  million box-office collection on its first day of release in China, including a record $28.2 million in midnight previews and had reached $130.4m by early lunchtime on its second day of release on Thursday.

Currently, 2017s The Fate of the Furious is the highest earning foreign movie in China. It has a collection of $393 million during its run in the country.

Endgame opens around everywhere in the world except Russia (Monday, April 29), and also opened on Wednesday in South Korea, France, Germany, Australia, and Italy, as well as Asian powerhouse Indonesia, Thailand, Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Scandinavia, among others.

Friday brings release in the UK, Brazil, Poland, Argentina, and Portugal while lining up on the Friday runway are Japan, Mexico, Spain, India, South Africa, Vietnam, Venezuela, and Ecuador.

The film shot entirely in IMAX and launches in some 1,400 IMAX sites worldwide this week. According to holiday reporter, Avengers: Endgame will earn approximately $270 -$300 million mark over its five-day opening frame.
